Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-184","heading":"Postmortem inspection - Marking or stamping","body":"For the purposes hereinbefore set forth the Board shall cause to\n\nbe made by inspectors appointed for that purpose, as hereinafter\n\nprovided, a postmortem examination and inspection of the carcasses\n\nand parts thereof of all cattle, bison, sheep, swine, goats, horses,\n\nmules, and other equines, capable of use as human food, to be\n\nprepared at any slaughtering, meat-canning, salting, packing,\n\nrendering, or similar establishment in this state in which such\n\narticles are prepared for intrastate commerce; and the carcasses and\n\nparts thereof of all such animals found to be not adulterated shall\n\nbe marked, stamped, tagged, or labeled, as \"Inspected and Passed\";\n\nand said inspectors shall label, mark, stamp, or tag, as \"Inspected\n\nand Condemned\", all carcasses and parts thereof of animals found to\n\nbe adulterated; and all carcasses and parts thereof thus inspected\n\nand condemned shall be destroyed for food purposes by the said\n\nestablishment in the presence of an inspector, and the Board may\n\nremove inspectors from any such establishment which fails to so\n\ndestroy any such condemned carcass or part thereof, and said\n\ninspectors, after said first inspection, shall, when they deem it\n\nnecessary, reinspect said carcasses or parts thereof to determine\n\nwhether, since the first inspection, the same have become\n\nadulterated and if any carcass or any part thereof shall, upon\n\nexamination and inspection subsequent to the first examination and\n\ninspection, be found to be adulterated, it shall be destroyed for\n\nfood purposes by the said establishment in the presence of an\n\ninspector, and the Board may remove inspectors from any\n\nestablishment which fails to destroy any such condemned carcass or\n\npart thereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"bffdbaa32fc3ba68768a2a6919e8feed88ff1ffbd6baedcf090c468b6de61af6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-183","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-185"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
