Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-188","heading":"Establishments - Inspections - Sanitary conditions","body":"The Board shall cause to be made, by competent inspectors, such\n\ninspection of all slaughtering, meat-canning, salting, packing,\n\nrendering, or similar establishments in which cattle, bison, sheep,\n\nswine, goats, horses, mules, and other equines are slaughtered and\n\nthe meat and meat food products thereof are prepared for intrastate\n\ncommerce as may be necessary to inform itself concerning the\n\nsanitary conditions of the same and to prescribe the rules and\n\nregulations of sanitation under which such establishments shall be\n\nmaintained; and where the sanitary conditions of any such\n\nestablishment are such that the meat or meat food products are\n\nrendered adulterated, it shall refuse to allow said meat or meat\n\nfood products to be labeled, marked, stamped, or tagged as \"Oklahoma\n\nInspected and Passed\", and the Board may remove inspectors from any\n\nestablishment which fails to maintain said establishment in a\n\nsanitary manner.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"88619518d4c9b0add2e6db7d8cf217f75a0520b497fa60d5884914b2297cab4e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-187","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-189"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
