The provisions of Sections 6-181 through 6-196 of this title\n\nrequiring inspection of the slaughter of animals and the preparation\n\nof the carcasses, parts thereof, meat and meat food products at\n\nestablishments conducting such operations shall not apply:\n\n1. To the slaughtering of animals of a person’s own raising,\n\nand the preparation and transportation in intrastate commerce of the\n\ncarcasses, parts thereof, meat and meat food products of such\n\nanimals exclusively for use by a person and members of a person’s\n\nhousehold and nonpaying guests and employees; nor\n\n2. To the custom slaughter by any person, firm, or corporation\n\nof cattle, bison, sheep, swine or goats delivered by the owner\n\nthereof for such slaughter, and the preparation by such slaughterer\n\nand transportation in intrastate commerce of the carcasses, parts\n\nthereof, meat and meat food products of such animals, exclusively\n\nfor use in the household of such owner, by the owner and members of\n\nthe owner’s household and nonpaying guests and employees.\n\nB. The provisions of this act requiring inspection of the\n\nslaughter of animals and the preparation of carcasses, parts\n\nthereof, meat and meat food products shall not apply to operations\n\nof types traditionally and usually conducted at retail stores and\n\nrestaurants, when conducted at any retail store or restaurant or\n\nsimilar retail type establishment for sale in normal retail\n\nquantities or service of such articles to consumers at such\n\nestablishments.\n\nC. The slaughter of animals and preparation of articles\n\nreferred to in paragraph 2 of subsection A and subsection B of this\n\nsection shall be conducted in accordance with such sanitary\n\nconditions as the Board may by regulations prescribe. Violation of\n\nany such regulation is prohibited.\n\nD.
