Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-198","heading":"Records","body":"(a) The following classes of persons, firms, and corporations\n\nshall keep such records as will fully and correctly disclose all\n\ntransactions involved in their businesses; and all persons, firms,\n\nand corporations subject to such requirements shall, at all\n\nreasonable times, upon notice by a duly authorized representative of\n\nthe Board, afford such representative and any duly authorized\n\nrepresentative of the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States\n\naccompanied by such representative of the Board access to their\n\nplaces of business and opportunity to examine the facilities,\n\ninventory, and records thereof, to copy all such records, and to\n\ntake reasonable samples of their inventory upon payment of the fair\n\nmarket value therefor:\n\n(1) Any persons, firms, or corporations that engage, for\n\nintrastate commerce, in the business of slaughtering any cattle,\n\nbison, sheep, swine, goats, horses, mules, or other equines, or\n\npreparing, freezing, packaging, or labeling any carcasses, or parts\n\nor products of carcasses, of any such animals, for use as human food\n\nor animal food;\n\n(2) Any persons, firms, or corporations that engage in the\n\nbusiness of buying or selling (as meat brokers, wholesalers or\n\notherwise), or transporting, in intrastate commerce, or storing in\n\nor for such commerce, any carcasses, or parts or products of\n\ncarcasses, of any such animals;\n\n(3) Any persons, firms, or corporations that engage in\n\nbusiness, in or for intrastate commerce, as renderers, or engage in\n\nthe business of buying, selling, or transporting, in such commerce,\n\nany dead, dying, disabled, or diseased cattle, bison, sheep, swine,\n\ngoats, horses, mules, or other equines, or parts of the carcasses of\n\nany such animals that died otherwise than by slaughter.\n\n(b) Any record required to be maintained by this section shall\n\nbe maintained for such period of time as the Board may by\n\nregulations prescribe.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3f45696c56508e3610bdd0ba505a955a1dd0e8ca4efa8652ee9952da77057f5b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-197","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-199"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
