Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-2","heading":"Official livestock and poultry disease control agency -","body":"Authority of State Veterinarian.\n\nA. The State Board of Agriculture shall be the official\n\nlivestock and poultry disease control agency of the State of\n\nOklahoma. The Board shall have authority to promulgate and enforce\n\nrules governing the handling, sale, and use of vaccines, antigens,\n\nand other biological products used in connection with livestock or\n\npoultry.\n\nB. In addition to other statutory authority, the State\n\nVeterinarian, upon obtaining concurrence of the State Board of\n\nAgriculture, may issue emergency orders governing animals in order\n\nto protect the citizens and animals of the state from diseases and\n\npests of animals, including the following to:\n\n1. Prohibit or impose conditions on importing animals into the\n\nstate;\n\n2. Require testing of animals;\n\n3. Require vaccination or other treatment of animals;\n\n4. Prohibit or impose conditions on moving animals within the\n\nstate;\n\n5. Issue stop movement orders for all livestock in the state to\n\ndetermine the precise location of a foreign animal disease in\n\naccordance with foreign animal disease response plans;\n\n6. Govern the disposition of animals; and\n\n7. Impose other measures governing animals to protect the\n\ncitizens and animals of the state from diseases and pests of\n\nanimals.\n\nC. Emergency orders issued pursuant to this section shall\n\nexpire on the date set in the order or upon the elapse of ninety\n\n(90) days; however, the State Veterinarian may renew the order for\n\nsuccessive ninety–day periods.\n\nD. Any person providing training for the emergency management\n\nof livestock or other animals for any circumstance, including, but\n\nnot limited to, disease, natural disaster, fire or other event,\n\nshall obtain approval from the State Veterinarian.
