Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-203","heading":"Detention of animals or products","body":"Whenever any carcass, part of a carcass, meat or meat food\n\nproduct of cattle, bison, sheep, swine, goats, horses, mules, or\n\nother equines, or any product exempted from the definition of a meat\n\nfood product, or any dead, dying, disabled, or diseased cattle,\n\nbison, sheep, swine, goat, or equine is found by any authorized\n\nrepresentative of the Board upon any premises where it is held for\n\npurposes of or during or after distribution in intrastate commerce,\n\nand there is reason to believe that any such article is adulterated\n\nor misbranded and is capable of use as human food, or that it has\n\nnot been inspected, in violation of the provisions of Sections 6-181\n\net seq. of this title or of the Federal Meat Inspection Act or the\n\nFederal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, or that such article or animal\n\nhas been or is intended to be distributed in violation of any such\n\nprovisions, it may be detained by such representative for a period\n\nnot to exceed twenty (20) days, pending action under Section 6-204\n\nof this title or notification of any federal authorities having\n\njurisdiction over such article or animal, and shall not be moved by\n\nany person, firm, or corporation from the place at which it is\n\nlocated when so detained, until released by such representative.
