The State Board of Agriculture is hereby designated as the\n\nstate agency which shall be responsible for cooperating with the\n\nSecretary of Agriculture of the United States under the provisions\n\nof Section 5 of the Federal Poultry Products Inspection Act and such\n\nagency may cooperate with the Secretary of Agriculture of the United\n\nStates in developing and administering the poultry products\n\ninspection program of this state under this act to assure that not\n\nlater than August 18, 1970, the state requirements will be at least\n\nequal to those imposed under Sections 1-4, 6-10, and 12-22 of the\n\nFederal Poultry Products Inspection Act and in developing and\n\nadministering the program of this state under Section 11 of this act\n\nin such a manner as will effectuate the purposes of this act and\n\nsaid Federal Act.\n\nB. In such cooperative efforts, the Board is authorized to\n\naccept from said Secretary advisory assistance in planning and\n\notherwise developing the state program, technical and laboratory\n\nassistance and training, including necessary curricular and\n\ninstructional materials and equipment, and financial and other aid\n\nfor administration of such a program. The Board is further\n\nauthorized to spend public funds of this state appropriated for\n\nadministration of this act to pay such share of the estimated total\n\ncost of the cooperative program as may be agreed upon by the Board\n\nand the Secretary.\n\nC. The Board is further authorized to recommend to the said\n\nSecretary of Agriculture such officials or employees of this state\n\nas the Board shall designate, for appointment to the advisory\n\ncommittees provided for in Section 5 of the Federal Poultry Products\n\nInspection Act; and the Board shall serve as the representative of\n\nthe Governor for consultation with said Secretary under paragraph C\n\nof Section 5 of said act unless the Governor shall select another\n\nrepresentative.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"310a8260b676e46b18f9d679372663468d3bc07337863f48e001d91e0b5b6938","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-254","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-256"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
