On and after September 1, 1989, no person shall:\n\n1. slaughter any rabbit or process any rabbit products which\n\nare capable of use as human food at any establishment processing any\n\nsuch articles solely for intrastate commerce, except in compliance\n\nwith the requirements of the Oklahoma Rabbit and Rabbit Products\n\nInspection Act; and\n\n2. sell, transport, offer for sale or transportation, or\n\nreceive for transportation, in intrastate commerce or from an\n\nofficial establishment, any slaughtered rabbit from which the blood,\n\nfeet, head, or viscera have not been removed in accordance with\n\nregulations promulgated by the Board, except as may be authorized by\n\nregulations of the Board.\n\nB. No person shall:\n\n1. sell, transport, offer for sale or transportation, or\n\nreceive for transportation, in intrastate commerce:\n\na. any rabbit products which are capable of use as human\n\nfood and are adulterated or misbranded at the time of\n\nsuch sale, transportation, offer for sale or\n\ntransportation, or receipt for transportation, or\n\nb. any rabbit products required to be inspected pursuant\n\nto the Oklahoma Rabbit and Rabbit Products Inspection\n\nAct unless they have been so inspected and passed;\n\n2. perform any act which is intended to cause or has the effect\n\nof causing such rabbit or rabbit products to be adulterated or\n\nmisbranded;\n\n3. use to his own advantage, or reveal other than to the\n\nauthorized representatives of the state government or any other\n\ngovernment in their official capacity, or as ordered by a court in\n\nany judicial proceedings, any information acquired under the\n\nauthority of the Oklahoma Rabbit and Rabbit Products Inspection Act\n\nconcerning any matter which is entitled to protection as a trade\n\nsecret.\n\nC. No brand manufacturer, printer, or other person shall cast,\n\nprint, lithograph, or otherwise make any device containing any\n\nofficial mark or simulation thereof, or any label bearing any such\n\nmark or simulation, or any form of official certificate or\n\nsimulation thereof, except as authorized by the Board.\n\nD. No person shall:\n\n1. forge any official device, mark, or certificate;\n\n2. without authorization from the Board use any official\n\ndevice, mark, or certificate, or simulation thereof, or alter,\n\ndetach, deface, or destroy any official device, mark, or certificate\n\nincluding \"Oklahoma Rejected\" or \"Oklahoma Retained\" tags;\n\n3. contrary to the regulations prescribed by the Board, fail to\n\nuse, or to detach, deface, or destroy any official device, mark, or\n\ncertificate;\n\n4. knowingly possess, without promptly notifying the Board or\n\nits representative, any official device or any counterfeit,\n\nsimulated, forged, or improperly altered official certificate or any\n\ndevice or label or any carcass of any rabbit, or part or product\n\nthereof, bearing any counterfeit, simulated, forged, or improperly\n\naltered official mark;\n\n5. knowingly make any false statement in any shipper's\n\ncertificate or other nonofficial or official certificate provided\n\nfor in the regulations prescribed by the Board; or\n\n6. knowingly represent that any article has been inspected and\n\npassed, or exempted, pursuant to the Oklahoma Rabbit and Rabbit\n\nProducts Inspection Act when, in fact, it has, respectively, not\n\nbeen so inspected and passed, or exempted.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d05cd2ce60696b91e78b3cde6c81075c0c281456f4c2e476a5db89236cbf0024","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-280.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-280.11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
