Owners and operators of licensed farmed cervidae facilities\n\nmay slaughter farmed cervidae at any time throughout the year\n\npursuant to the Exotic Livestock and Exotic Livestock Products\n\nInspection Act.\n\nB. An owner or operator may slaughter their own farmed cervidae\n\nfor personal or noncommercial consumption.\n\nC. Owners and operators of licensed farmed or commercial\n\ncervidae facilities may sell, use, or dispose of hides or antlers\n\nfrom slaughtered farmed cervidae, provided they comply with all\n\nrequirements in rules promulgated by the State Board of Agriculture\n\nwith input from the Department of Wildlife Conservation.\n\nD. An owner or operator shall only sell or dispose of antlers\n\nwith attached skull plates in the following circumstances:\n\n1. Each set of antlers shall be individually identified with\n\nsufficient documentation linking it to the farmed or commercial\n\ncervidae facility, including, but not limited to, photographs, lock-\n\non identification tags, DNA testing, or other proof of ownership;\n\n2. In no case shall an owner or operator sell or dispose of\n\nantlers without appropriate documentation; and\n\n3. The owner or operator shall provide a copy of all appropriate\n\ndocumentation to the purchaser or recipient at the time of sale or\n\ndisposal.\n\nE. The sale or disposal of antler sheds or antlers that are\n\nattached to the skull plate shall not be restricted.\n\nF. Facilities shall comply with all carcass disposal\n\nrequirements. The following methods may be used for disposal of\n\ncarcasses from a farmed cervidae facility:\n\n1. Rendering;\n\n2. Landfill;\n\n3. Burial;\n\n4. Incineration; or\n\n5.
