No person shall intentionally or knowingly release or engage\n\nin, sponsor, instigate, assist, or profit from the release of any\n\nhog, boar, swine, or pig to live in a wild or feral state upon\n\npublic or private lands, except for:\n\n1. Release into a licensed sporting facility pursuant to the\n\nFeral Swine Control Act; or\n\n2. When utilizing the Judas pig tagging system, release onto\n\nthe same private land on which a feral hog was trapped or caught.\n\nIn order to come under the release authorization of this paragraph,\n\nthe release must occur within twenty-four (24) hours of the capture\n\nof the hog.\n\nB. No person shall knowingly or intentionally violate the\n\nimportation, testing, permitting, licensing, and transportation\n\nrequirements contained in the Feral Swine Control Act and rules\n\npromulgated thereto.\n\nC. Any person violating the provisions of this section is\n\nguilty of a Class D3 felony offense and subject to imprisonment as\n\nprovided for in subsections B through F of Section 20P of Title 21\n\nof the Oklahoma Statutes, a fine of Two Thousand Dollars\n\n($2,000.00), or both fine and imprisonment.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"81305a8a3acfed3b139ec2f740b6ee0a851fa7d720a587618ca94cf8abba4761","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-610","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-612"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
