Stat. tit. 2, § 2-7-21","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this subarticle:\n\n1. \"Cooperative association\" means any group in which farmers\n\nor producers act together in the market preparation, processing, or\n\nmarketing of farm products or any association, not having capital\n\nstock or operated for a profit, and organized under this subarticle;\n\n2. \"Dairy farmer\" means a person engaged in the business of\n\nproducing milk for sale to milk processors directly or through a\n\ncooperative association of which the person is a member. When a\n\ndairy farmer has sold milk through a cooperative association of\n\nwhich the dairy farmer is a member, the cooperative association\n\nshall be considered a dairy farmer;\n\n3. \"Escrow account agent\" means an entity within this state,\n\nwhich is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation;\n\n4. \"Milk processor\" means a person who operates a milk, milk\n\nproducts, or frozen desserts processing plant that is located in the\n\nState of Oklahoma; and\n\n5. \"Purchase price\" means an amount of money, based on\n\nestimated butterfat content and other common industry standards at\n\nthe time of delivery, that a milk processor agrees to pay a dairy\n\nfarmer for a purchase of raw milk.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c816fc1fdc51f47adf1f347536749b42b6ba2df72cce63a4b81864cce3c88466","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-6-99","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-7-22"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
