Only Grade A pasteurized milk and milk products or Grade A\n\nraw milk shall be sold to the final consumer; provided, however:\n\n1. Only Grade A pasteurized milk shall be sold through\n\nrestaurants, soda fountains, grocery stores, or similar\n\nestablishments, including school lunch rooms; and\n\n2. In an emergency, the sale of pasteurized milk and milk\n\nproducts which have not been graded, or the grade is unknown, may be\n\nauthorized by the Commissioner of Agriculture so long as the milk\n\nand milk products shall be labeled \"ungraded\".\n\nB. Approval by the Commissioner pursuant to rules promulgated\n\nby the State Board of Agriculture for the use of Grade A label on\n\nmilk and milk products processed at any milk plant in accordance\n\nwith the provisions of the Oklahoma Milk and Milk Products Act shall\n\nconstitute an acceptable rating for all intrastate purposes. No\n\nsanitary requirement or standard issued pursuant to the Oklahoma\n\nMilk and Milk Products Act or by any governmental subdivision shall\n\nprohibit the sale of Grade A milk and milk products which are\n\nproduced and processed under laws or rules of any governmental unit\n\nwhich are substantially equivalent to the requirements of the\n\nOklahoma Milk and Milk Products Act, and which are enforced with\n\nequal effectiveness, as determined by a milk sanitation rating\n\ncertified to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Food\n\nand Drug Administration or its successor.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e08052cf4e5815ada3e9817e6e1b8ee58a9b709f503153f0c958e25b3f004715","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-7-405","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-7-407"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
