The Commissioner of Agriculture shall collect and analyze\n\nrepresentative samples, at least four times in any consecutive six\n\n(6) months, of Grade A raw milk for pasteurization and Grade A milk\n\nand milk products from each Grade A dairy farm, or milk plant and\n\nshall collect and analyze representative Grade A milk and milk\n\nproducts, as required by the Oklahoma Milk and Milk Products Act and\n\nrules promulgated by the State Board of Agriculture.\n\nB. Whenever two of the last four consecutive bacteria counts,\n\nsomatic cell counts, coliform determinations, or cooling\n\ntemperatures, taken on separate days, exceed the limit of the\n\nstandard for the milk and milk products, the Commissioner shall send\n\na written notice to the person concerned. This notice shall be in\n\neffect so long as two of the last four consecutive samples exceed\n\nthe limit of the standard. An additional sample shall be taken\n\nwithin twenty-one (21) days of sending the notice, but not before\n\nthe lapse of three (3) days.\n\nC. Whenever a phosphatase test on Grade A pasteurized milk is\n\npositive, the cause shall be determined; and where the cause is\n\nimproper pasteurization, it shall be corrected and any milk or milk\n\nproduct involved shall not be offered for sale as Grade A.\n\nD. Whenever an inhibitor test is positive and confirmed, the\n\ncause shall be determined, any milk or milk product involved shall\n\nnot be offered for sale as Grade A, and the dairy farm responsible\n\nshall not produce raw milk for Grade A purposes until the milk is\n\nfound to be free of inhibitors.\n\nE. Samples shall be analyzed in a laboratory approved by the\n\nCommissioner. All sampling procedures and required laboratory\n\nexaminations shall be in substantial compliance with the latest\n\nedition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products of\n\nthe American Public Health Association and the latest edition of\n\nOfficial Methods of Analyses of the Association of Official\n\nAnalytical Chemists.
