All milk for pasteurization and for Grade A raw distribution\n\nshall be from herds located in a Modified Accredited Tuberculosis\n\nArea as determined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture; provided,\n\nthat herds located in an area that fails to maintain accredited\n\nstatus shall have been certified by the United States Department of\n\nAgriculture as tuberculosis-free, or shall have an annual negative\n\ntuberculosis test.\n\nB. All milk for pasteurization and for Grade A raw distribution\n\nshall be from herds participating in Brucellosis Milk Surveillance\n\nprogram for brucellosis eradication which is conducted on a\n\ncontinuing basis at intervals of not less than every three (3)\n\nmonths or more than every six (6) months. Individual blood tests may\n\nbe required on all animals in herds showing positive reactions to\n\nthe Brucellosis Milk Surveillance test.\n\nC. For diseases other than brucellosis and tuberculosis, the\n\nCommissioner shall require physical, chemical, or bacteriological\n\ntests as necessary. The diagnosis of other diseases in dairy cattle\n\nshall be based upon the findings of a licensed veterinarian or a\n\nveterinarian in the employ of an official agency.\n\nD.
