Nothing in Sections 8-21 through 8-28 of this title shall be\n\nconstrued as requiring the State Board of Agriculture or any\n\nauthorized agent to report, for prosecution, or for the institution\n\nof seizure proceedings, minor violations of Sections 8-21 through 8-\n\n28 of this title when the Board determines that the public interest\n\nwill best be served by a suitable notice of violation or written\n\nwarning.\n\nB. If the State Board of Agriculture finds any deficient\n\ninspection fees due, as a result of an audit of the records of any\n\nperson subject to the provisions of Sections 8-21 through 8-28 of\n\nthis title, the Board shall assess a penalty fee of ten percent\n\n(10%) maximum not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) of\n\namount due, or One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater.\n\nThe audit penalty shall be added to the deficient inspection fees\n\ndue and payment made within thirty (30) days.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9cec7532001d321530c1444449da71f323cc9c56d0c424d6f6668c21110b9c83","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-8-27","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-8-31"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
