Stat. tit. 2, § 2-8-41.12","heading":"\"Stop Sale\" orders - \"Condemnation and Confiscation\"","body":"A. \"Stop Sale\" orders: When the State Board of Agriculture has\n\nreasonable cause to believe any lot of commercial feed is being\n\ndistributed in violation of any of the provisions of this act or\n\nrules, it may issue and enforce a written or printed \"Stop Sale\"\n\norder, warning the distributor not to dispose of the lot of\n\ncommercial feed in any manner until written permission is given by\n\nthe Board or the court. The Board shall release the lot of\n\ncommercial feed withdrawn when all requirements have been met. If\n\ncompliance is not obtained within thirty (30) days, the Board may\n\nbegin, or upon request of the distributor or licensee shall begin,\n\nproceedings for condemnation.\n\nB. \"Condemnation and Confiscation\": Any lot of commercial feed\n\nnot in compliance with the law shall be subject to seizure on\n\ncomplaint of the Board to a court in the area in which the\n\ncommercial feed is located. In the event the court finds the\n\ncommercial feed to be in violation of this subarticle and orders the\n\ncondemnation of the commercial feed, it shall be disposed of in any\n\nmanner consistent with the quality of the commercial feed and the\n\nlaws of the state.
