Valid licenses are required by all persons whose name\n\nappears on the label or invoice as the guarantor manufacturing or\n\ndistributing of a commercial feed product in this state. The\n\nlicense application must list each manufacturing and distribution\n\nfacility which is or will be engaged in distributing any feed sold,\n\noffered for sale, or distributed by the applicant. No license is\n\nrequired of a person retailing or wholesaling commercial feed\n\nlabeled and guaranteed by another manufacturer. Any out-of-state\n\nperson who has no distribution facility within this state shall\n\nobtain a license for the entity's principal out-of-state office if\n\nthe out-of-state person or other entity sells, offers or exposes for\n\nsale, or distributes any commercial feed in this state.\n\n2. Application shall be made on a form furnished by the State\n\nBoard of Agriculture.\n\n3. The Board may establish an annual fee for licensing\n\ndistributors pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Commercial\n\nFeed Law. The Board shall follow the procedures required by the\n\nAdministrative Procedures Act for promulgation of rules in\n\nestablishing the licensing fees.\n\n4. Licenses shall be renewed on a date to be determined by the\n\nBoard. Commercial feed license renewal applications received thirty\n\n(30) days or more after the renewal date shall be subject to a late\n\nfiling fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00).\n\nB. Any license may be suspended, canceled, revoked, or refused\n\nreissue by the Board after notice and opportunity for a hearing has\n\nbeen given to the holder of the license in accordance with the\n\nAdministrative Procedures Act. Notice shall be given to the holder\n\nof the license by registered or certified mail at least twenty (20)\n\ndays prior to the date of the hearing. The suspension,\n\ncancellation, revocation, refusal to issue, or reissue may be made\n\nif the Board finds any violation of the Oklahoma Commercial Feed Law\n\nor of rules or standards prescribed by the Board.\n\nC. When the Board has reasonable cause to believe a violation\n\nof the law may exist, copies of labels and labeling of commercial\n\nfeed being distributed may be requested in order to determine\n\ncompliance with the provisions of the Oklahoma Commercial Feed Law,\n\nSection 8-41.1 et seq. of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 2"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os2.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"121680e17e3e78d4caf28112e6a1ff6739301cb68d505012e667d019addb67d0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-8-41.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-2-2-8-41.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
