Stat. tit. 20, § 20-1007","heading":"Destruction or sale of documents by court clerk","body":"\n\nThe court clerk in each county in Oklahoma is authorized to\n\ndestroy or sell for salvage the documents mentioned in this section\n\nwhich have been on file or stored in the court clerk’s office for a\n\nperiod longer than the time specified below:\n\n1. One (1) year. All marriage health certificates.\n\n2. Two (2) years. All instruments relating to beer, bingo,\n\nprocess servers, foreign process servers, closing out sale, and pool\n\nhall licenses including the applications, affidavits of residence,\n\norders for hearing, notices of hearing, affidavits of posting and\n\nmailing and duplicate beer license.\n\n3. Three (3) years. All duplicate receipts, duplicate\n\nvouchers, mechanics' and materialmen's lien records, duplicate\n\ndeposit tickets, jury lists, juror and witness certificates, court\n\nclerk's liens, court fund claims, jury and bailiff records, monthly\n\nreports, statutory bonds, cost bonds, paid claims, procedural bonds,\n\ncourt assignments, and court calendars including disposition docket\n\nbooks containing entries which have been posted to the case file\n\ndocket sheet or computer printed docket sheet, appearance bonds and\n\nsearch warrants in instances where no charges are filed, purchase\n\norders, court minutes and records pertaining to bondspersons’\n\nlicenses.","path":["OK Code","Title 20"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os20.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"aff0e735a59ea31ddfe9ca5fdbe6862db2e2c376192d09906e9d9750ab663e2a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-1006","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-1008"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
