Stat. tit. 20, § 20-106.6","heading":"Assignment of reporters - Expenses","body":"The presiding judge may assign a court reporter to serve\n\nanywhere within the administrative district in which the court\n\nreporter is appointed. A court reporter shall be paid travel\n\nexpenses incurred in connection with his official duties outside the\n\ncounty wherein he resides. No expenses shall be paid by the state\n\nto a court reporter for travel in his county of residence. Expense\n\nvouchers shall be submitted to the Supreme Court for approval. The\n\nexpense vouchers or claims submitted to the Supreme Court shall have\n\nendorsed thereon the signed approval of the presiding judge of the\n\ndistrict in which the court reporter incurred the expense for which\n\nclaim is made.\n\nThe Supreme Court may, with the consent of the presiding judge\n\nof his district, assign a court reporter to temporary service\n\noutside his own administrative district. A court reporter shall be\n\npaid travel expenses incurred in connection with his official duties\n\nduring such periods of temporary assignment.
