Stat. tit. 20, § 20-12","heading":"Fees and costs - Attendance of witnesses","body":"The party demanding a jury shall deposit with the Clerk of the\n\nSupreme Court a sum sufficient to pay the expenses of summoning the\n\njury and the jurors' fees. The Clerk, Marshal, jurors and witnesses\n\nshall be entitled to the same fees and mileage as are allowed in the\n\ndistrict court for like services. Witnesses may be notified by the\n\nClerk by mail and shall be required to attend from any county in the\n\nstate, if required by the party requesting such witness. The entire\n\ncosts in the cause shall be adjudged against the losing party, or\n\napportioned in such manner as the Court may in its discretion\n\ndirect.
