Stat. tit. 20, § 20-1208","heading":"Powers of Board of Law Library Trustees","body":"Such board of trustees, by a majority vote of all their members,\n\nshall have power:\n\nFirst: To make and enforce all rules, regulations and bylaws\n\nnecessary for the administration, government and protection of such\n\nlibrary, and all property belonging thereto, or that may be loaned,\n\ndevised, bequeathed or donated to the same.\n\nSecond: To remove any trustee for just cause, and fill all\n\nvacancies that may from any cause occur on the board.\n\nThird: To define the powers and prescribe the duties of its\n\nofficers, and to provide for the time and manner of their selection.\n\nFourth: To elect all necessary subordinate officers, including a\n\nlibrarian and such assistants as may be necessary, and to prescribe\n\ntheir duties and fix the salary of same, and at their pleasure\n\nremove any such officer or assistant.\n\nFifth: To purchase books, journals, publications, and other\n\npersonal property, the title to which shall be in the county.\n\nSixth: To order the drawing and payment, upon properly\n\nauthenticated vouchers, duly certified by the president and\n\nsecretary, of money from the Law Library Fund, for any liability or\n\nexpenditure herein authorized, and generally to do all that may be\n\nnecessary to carry into effect the provisions of this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 20"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os20.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"907ff5b58620d25250b9afce6054f39fd6136add40cb39e0f3ce82d01964388b","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-1207","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-1209"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
