There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving\n\nfund for the Supreme Court to be designated the \"Law Library\n\nRevolving Fund\". The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject\n\nto fiscal year limitations, and shall consist of all monies\n\ncollected by the clerks of the district court for law libraries as\n\nprescribed by law, the sales of any law library books or equipment,\n\ncharges for services, gifts, grants, private donations, and federal\n\nfunding. All monies accruing to the credit of the fund are hereby\n\nappropriated and may be budgeted and expended by the Supreme Court\n\nupon approval of the Chief Justice for:\n\n1. The payment of charges due and owing by county law libraries\n\nat the time this statute is enacted;\n\n2. The purchase of books, journals, publications, computer-\n\nassisted research devices and services, computer equipment and\n\nmaintenance, communication charges, and other necessary equipment,\n\nservices, and fixtures;\n\n3. The payment of the salaries and benefits of personnel to\n\nadminister the law libraries and assist in the purchase, sale, and\n\ninventory of books and equipment and the payment of all bills due\n\nand owing by county law libraries. Without regard for the county in\n\nwhich bills were incurred or monies accrued, all monies received in\n\nthe fund shall be combined and all bills paid from this fund;\n\n4. The payment of incidental expenses as established in rules\n\npromulgated by the Supreme Court;\n\n5. The payment of expenses occurring as the result of a natural\n\ndisaster, accident, or equipment malfunction which is not reasonably\n\nforeseeable;\n\n6. No initial orders or renewals for printed materials not\n\npreviously on subscription may be placed after July 1, 1997; and\n\n7. On or before August 1, 1997, the Administrative Director of\n\nthe Courts shall solicit proposals for electronic research services\n\nto be provided to county law libraries if funds are available. Such\n\nproposals shall provide both compact disc and Internet access\n\ncapabilities.\n\nExpenditures from this fund shall be made upon warrants issued\n\nby the State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by law\n\nwith the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices for approval and payment.\n\nB. Until June 30, 2021, the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices shall, at the request of the Administrative Director of the\n\nCourts, transfer any monies from the Law Library Revolving Fund to\n\nthe Supreme Court Administrative Revolving Fund or the Interagency\n\nReimbursement Fund as necessary to perform the duties imposed upon\n\nthe Supreme Court, Court of Civil Appeals and district courts by\n\nlaw.","path":["OK Code","Title 20"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os20.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4a0eaf0f3cbb992ef70dfc8d953a88270f4204d1dc913102f578128ede01afe5","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-1226","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-123"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
