Stat. tit. 20, § 20-14.1","heading":"Entities authorized to issue bonds – Application to the","body":"Supreme Court for approval.\n\nAny department, institution, board, bureau, division,\n\ncommission, agency, trusteeship, or authority of state government\n\nauthorized to issue bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness\n\nmay, upon advice of bond counsel or upon governing board approval,\n\nfile an application with the Supreme Court of Oklahoma for the\n\napproval of any obligations to be issued by it. Exclusive original\n\njurisdiction shall be conferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and\n\ndetermine each such application pursuant to rules and procedures\n\ndesignated by the Court. The Court may give such applications\n\nprecedence over the other business of the Court and to consider and\n\npass upon the applications and any protests which may be filed\n\nagainst the application as expeditiously as possible.\n\nNotice of the hearing on each application shall be given by a\n\nnotice in a newspaper of general circulation in the state that on a\n\nday named, the applicant will ask the Court to hear its application\n\nand approve the obligations. Notice shall inform all persons\n\ninterested that they may file protests against the issuance of the\n\nobligations and be present at the hearing and contest its legality.\n\nThe notice shall be published one time not less than ten (10) days\n\nprior to the date named for the hearing and the hearing may be\n\nadjourned from time to time in the discretion of the Court.\n\nIf the Court is satisfied that the obligations have been\n\nproperly authorized in accordance with the law and that when issued,\n\nthey will constitute valid obligations in accordance with their\n\nterms, the Court shall render its written opinion approving the\n\nobligations and shall fix the time within which a petition for\n\nrehearing may be filed.
