Stat. tit. 20, § 20-1404.1","heading":"Candidate for judicial office - Standards of conduct -","body":"Removal - Disqualification.\n\nA person who is not a judicial officer but is a candidate for a\n\njudicial office shall comply with the standards enumerated below,\n\nand any violation of these standards shall constitute grounds for\n\nthe removal by the Court on the Judiciary of a person who is not a\n\njudicial officer elected to a judicial office with or without\n\ndisqualification to hold a judicial office in the future.\n\n1. Participation, while a candidate for judicial office, in any\n\npartisan political activity. The term \"partisan political activity\"\n\nas used in this paragraph shall not include attendance by a\n\ncandidate for a judicial office at a political gathering, upon\n\npayment of a nominal admission fee, for the sole purpose of\n\ncampaigning in his own behalf for a judicial office.\n\n2. Participation, while a candidate for a judicial office, in\n\nany election campaign other than that for his own election to a\n\njudicial office.\n\n3.
