Stat. tit. 20, § 20-1501","heading":"State Board of Examiners of Certified Shorthand","body":"Reporters.\n\nThere is hereby re-created, to continue until July 1, 2026, in\n\naccordance with the provisions of the Oklahoma Sunset Law, Section\n\n3901 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, the State Board of\n\nExaminers of Certified Shorthand Reporters which shall consist of\n\nfive (5) members, all of whom shall be certified shorthand\n\nreporters. The members shall be persons who have been, for at least\n\nfive (5) years prior to their appointment to the Board, residents of\n\nthis state and certified shorthand reporters. All members shall be\n\nappointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and shall serve\n\nin staggered terms, each for a period of five (5) years except for\n\nthe initial appointees. No member may serve more than one term in\n\nsuccession. The Board shall elect from its membership a chair and a\n\nsecretary. Three members shall constitute a quorum. The Board may\n\nadopt a seal for its official use.
