Every certified shorthand reporter and every court reporter\n\ntemporarily employed by the district court, Workers' Compensation\n\nCommission, Workers' Compensation Court of Existing Claims, or\n\nCorporation Commission shall annually complete at least four (4)\n\nhours of continuing education approved by the State Board of\n\nExaminers of Certified Shorthand Reporters.\n\nB. A certified shorthand reporter or court reporter is exempt\n\nfrom the requirements of subsection A of this section if the\n\nreporter verifies under oath to the State Board of Examiners of\n\nCertified Shorthand Reporters that he or she:\n\n1. Has attained the age of sixty-five (65) before or during the\n\ncalendar year for which the reporter seeks an exemption;\n\n2. Is a member of the Armed Forces on full-time active duty\n\nduring the entire calendar year for which the reporter seeks an\n\nexemption; or\n\n3.
