Stat. tit. 20, § 20-1508","heading":"Metal seals - Use of abbreviations - Powers of certified","body":"reporters.\n\nEvery person enrolled as a certified shorthand reporter shall be\n\nentitled to use the abbreviation C.S.R. after his name and shall\n\nreceive from the Board, without additional charge, a metal seal with\n\nhis name and the words \"Oklahoma Certified Shorthand Reporter\".\n\nEvery person enrolled as a licensed shorthand reporter shall be\n\nentitled to use the abbreviation L.S.R. after his name and shall\n\nreceive from the Board, without additional charge, a metal seal with\n\nhis name and the words \"Oklahoma Licensed Shorthand Reporter\".\n\nCourt reporters holding a temporary certificate shall not be allowed\n\nthe use of a seal. The determination of the format and construction\n\nof the seal shall rest with the Supreme Court of the State of\n\nOklahoma. The Oklahoma Supreme Court shall determine the procedures\n\nto be used in the distribution of all shorthand reporter seals.\n\nCertified shorthand reporters shall be authorized to issue\n\naffidavits in respect to their regular duties, to subpoena witnesses\n\nfor depositions, administer oaths and affirmations with authority\n\nequal to that of a notary public, and to take depositions or other\n\nsworn statements.
