Stat. tit. 20, § 20-1654","heading":"Tenure","body":"Of the members first appointed to the Council on Judicial\n\nComplaints, one shall serve for three (3) years and until a\n\nsuccessor shall be appointed and qualified; one shall serve for four\n\n(4) years and until a successor shall be appointed and qualified;\n\nand one shall serve for five (5) years and until a successor shall\n\nbe appointed and qualified. The respective terms of the first\n\nmembers shall be determined by lot at the first meeting of the\n\nCouncil, and the results thereof shall be certified to the Secretary\n\nof State and to the appointing authority for each individual member.\n\nThereafter, each appointee shall serve for a term of five (5) years\n\nand until a successor is selected and qualified.
