Every registered or certified courtroom interpreter shall\n\nannually complete at least eight (8) hours of continuing education\n\napproved by the State Board of Examiners of Courtroom Interpreters,\n\nwhich shall include at least two (2) hours which relate to Oklahoma\n\ncourt rules and procedures or interpreter ethics.\n\nB. A certified courtroom interpreter is exempt from the\n\nrequirement of subsection A of this section if the interpreter\n\nverifies under oath to the State Board of Examiners of Certified\n\nCourtroom Interpreters that such person:\n\n1. Is a member of the armed forces on full-time active duty\n\nwhich has prevented the court interpreter from completing continuing\n\neducation during the calendar year for which the interpreter or\n\ntranslator seeks an exemption; or\n\n2.
