Stat. tit. 20, § 20-30.11","heading":"Congressional Districts","body":"Judges of the Court of Civil Appeals shall be elected or\n\nappointed from the Congressional Districts with the boundaries as\n\nthey exist at the time the Judge is elected or appointed to office;\n\nhowever, should the boundaries of the six Congressional Districts be\n\nrevised and elections for the office of United States Representative\n\nbe conducted using the revised boundaries, then the revised\n\nboundaries shall also be used in the conduct of any elections\n\nrequired for the office of Judge of the Court of Civil Appeals;\n\nexcept that Judges of the Court of Civil Appeals seeking retention\n\nshall be retained in the original Congressional District from which\n\nthey were elected or appointed; provided, however, nothing in this\n\nsection shall be construed to require a change of residence of a\n\nJudge of the Court of Civil Appeals seeking retention.
