Stat. tit. 20, § 20-30.15","heading":"Election or appointment of Judges - Experience and","body":"qualifications - Terms of office.\n\nTwo Judges shall be appointed or elected to the Court of Civil\n\nAppeals from each of the six congressional districts of the State of\n\nOklahoma.\n\nA. Each Judge of the Court of Civil Appeals shall have, prior\n\nto election or appointment, a minimum of four (4) years' experience\n\nas a licensed practicing attorney, or as a judge of a court of\n\nrecord, or both, within the State of Oklahoma; shall be a qualified\n\nelector of the respective district; and shall have such additional\n\nqualifications as may be prescribed by statute. Judges of the Court\n\nof Civil Appeals shall continue to be licensed attorneys while in\n\noffice.\n\nB. The terms of office of the Judges of the Court of Civil\n\nAppeals shall be six (6) years and shall begin on the second Monday\n\nof January following their election.
