There is hereby created a Cost Administration Implementation\n\nCommittee within the Administrative Office of the Courts. Members\n\nof the Committee shall be appointed no later than July 1, 2022. The\n\nCommittee shall be composed of thirteen (13) members as follows:\n\n1. The Administrative Director of the Courts or designee;\n\n2. The District Court Clerk of Oklahoma County or designee;\n\n3. The District Court Clerk of Tulsa County or designee;\n\n4. Two District Court Judges or their designees to be selected\n\nby the Chief Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court;\n\n5. Two District Court Clerks or their designees to be selected\n\nby the Executive Board of the Court Clerk's Association;\n\n6. Two County Sheriffs or their designees to be selected by the\n\nBoard of Directors of the Oklahoma Sheriffs' Association;\n\n7. Two Municipal Court Judges or their designees to be selected\n\nby the Oklahoma Municipal Judges Association; and\n\n8. Two lay persons who work regularly to assist or who advocate\n\nfor persons who owe fines, fees, costs, and assessments to the court\n\nsystem to be selected by the Chief Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme\n\nCourt.\n\nB. The Chief Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court shall\n\ndesignate a chair and vice-chair from among the members of the\n\nCommittee. A majority of the members present at a meeting shall\n\nconstitute a quorum to conduct business.\n\nC. Meetings of the Committee shall be subject to the provisions\n\nof the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act and the Oklahoma Open Records Act.\n\nD. Members shall not receive any compensation for their\n\nservices but shall be reimbursed pursuant to the provisions of the\n\nState Travel Reimbursement Act.\n\nE. The Committee shall be staffed by employees of the\n\nAdministrative Office of the Courts.\n\nF. The Committee shall oversee the implementation of the\n\nprovisions of Sections 2 through 5 of this act by July 1, 2023, and\n\nshall be authorized to make recommendations to the Oklahoma\n\nLegislature for any changes it deems necessary and appropriate for\n\nthe administration of court fines, fees, costs, and assessments.","path":["OK Code","Title 20"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os20.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0ca6547428258a76761cb20bbd88910318a8717d263b3dc0d77091db0ae7484a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-3006","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-20-20-3011"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
