Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1048","heading":"Storage or accumulation of wrecked or abandoned motor","body":"vehicle or part thereof within view of preexisting residence or\n\nadjoining property - Farm-related vehicles excepted.\n\nNo person, firm, partnership or corporation shall with malice or\n\nwithout valid business purpose store, accumulate, allow to\n\naccumulate, or allow to remain stored or accumulated after receipt\n\nof notice as is hereinafter provided, any wrecked or abandoned motor\n\nvehicle, or any recyclable or nonrecyclable hulk or part of a motor\n\nvehicle within view of any preexisting residence or adjoining\n\nproperty situated outside the territorial limits of any incorporated\n\nmunicipality. Any homeowner or adjoining property owner aggrieved\n\nby any violation of this section may order the removal of any motor\n\nvehicle, hulk or part stored in violation hereof upon thirty (30)\n\ndays' written notice to the owner of the land where such motor\n\nvehicle, hulk or part is stored. Upon the failure of the offending\n\nparty to comply with said order, the aggrieved party may obtain\n\ninjunctive and mandamus relief for the removal of matter so stored\n\nor accumulated or for screening of the matter so stored or\n\naccumulated from view from the adjoining property from the district\n\ncourt of the county where the residence is situated and, further;\n\nshall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees, court costs\n\nand other reasonable expenses of bringing suit.\n\nProvided, nothing within this section shall prohibit the\n\naccumulation or storage of farm-related vehicles upon any property\n\ncurrently used for agricultural or ranching-related purposes.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5026abf0f1ae5a8ec0899c3b97a4249d32d3c618e7388a1963334f310c0f97a6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1040.80","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
