Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1053","heading":"Preparing or drawing lottery - Punishment","body":"Any person who contrives, prepares, sets up, proposes or draws\n\nany lottery shall be guilty of a Class D3 felony offense punishable\n\nby a fine equal to double the amount of the whole sum or value for\n\nwhich such lottery was made and, if such amount cannot be\n\nascertained, then by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B\n\nthrough F of Section 20P of this title, or by a fine of Two Thousand\n\nFive Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00), or by both such fine and\n\nimprisonment.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2472.
