Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1085","heading":"Restraining female in house of prostitution a felony","body":"Whoever shall by any means keep, hold, detain, or restrain\n\nagainst her will, any female person in a house of prostitution or\n\nother place where prostitution is practiced or allowed; or whoever\n\nshall, directly or indirectly keep, hold, detain or restrain or\n\nattempt to keep, hold, detain or restrain, in any house of\n\nprostitution or other place where prostitution is practiced or\n\nallowed, any female person by any means for the purpose of\n\ncompelling such female person, directly or indirectly to pay,\n\nliquidate or cancel any debt, dues or obligations incurred or said\n\nto have been incurred by such female person, shall upon conviction\n\nbe guilty of a Class B2 felony offense and shall be punished by\n\nimprisonment in the State Penitentiary for a period of not less than\n\ntwo (2) years nor more than twenty (20) years, and by a fine of not\n\nless than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) and not more than One\n\nThousand Dollars ($1,000.00).\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2429.
