It shall be unlawful for any person to leave or deposit, or\n\ncause to be deposited or left, the carcass of any animal, chicken or\n\nother fowl in any well, spring, pond or stream of water; or leave or\n\ndeposit the same within one-fourth (1/4) mile of any occupied\n\ndwelling or of any public highway, without burying or disposing of\n\nthe carcass in accordance with the recommendations and requirements\n\nof the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry.\n\nB. It shall be the duty of the owner of any domestic animal in\n\nthe State of Oklahoma to dispose of any carcass within twenty-four\n\n(24) hours after notice of the knowledge of the death. Disposal\n\nshall be in accordance with the recommendations and requirements of\n\nthe Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. It\n\nshall be unlawful to bury any carcass in any land along any stream\n\nor ravine where it may become exposed through erosion of the soil,\n\nor where the land is at any time subject to overflow.\n\nC. \"Owner\" shall mean and include any person having possession\n\nof domestic animals either by reason of ownership, rent, hire, loan,\n\nor otherwise.\n\nD.
