Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1276","heading":"Penalty for 1272 and 1273","body":"PENALTY FOR 1272 AND 1273\n\nAny person violating the provisions of Section 1272 or 1273 of\n\nthis title shall, upon a first conviction, be adjudged guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor and the party offending shall be punished by a fine of\n\nnot less than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) nor more than Two\n\nHundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00), or by imprisonment in the county\n\njail for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days or both such fine\n\nand imprisonment. On the second and every subsequent violation, the\n\nparty offending shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not\n\nless than Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) nor more than Five\n\nHundred Dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for\n\na period not less than thirty (30) days nor more than three (3)\n\nmonths, or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nAny person convicted of violating the provisions of Section 1272\n\nor 1273 of this title after having been issued a handgun license\n\npursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act shall\n\nhave the license suspended for a period of six (6) months and shall\n\nbe liable for an administrative fine of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) upon\n\na hearing and determination by the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nInvestigation that the person is in violation of the provisions of\n\nthis section.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d4ea252bec68049bac13f2b98bb95b894ba0b3c62fbcc67c09deea69c7a5ff9e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1273","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1277"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
