Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1289.10","heading":"Furnishing firearms to incompetent persons","body":"FURNISHING FIREARMS TO INCOMPETENT PERSONS\n\nIt shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly transmit,\n\ntransfer, sell, lend or furnish any shotgun, rifle or pistol to any\n\nperson who is under an adjudication of mental incompetency, or to\n\nany person who is mentally deficient or of unsound mind. Any person\n\nconvicted of a violation of the provisions of this section shall be\n\npunished as provided in Section 1289.15 of this title.\n\nAny person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this\n\nsection after having been issued a handgun license pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act shall have the license\n\nsuspended for a term of six (6) months and shall be subject to an\n\nadministrative fine of Fifty Dollars ($50.00), upon a hearing and\n\ndetermination by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation that the\n\nperson is in violation of the provisions of this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8e68f7920f151dd0f55f280b408d36baba00ece54512a59e38cc506aaf7abcb3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1289.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1289.11"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
