Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1289.11","heading":"Reckless conduct","body":"RECKLESS CONDUCT\n\nIt shall be unlawful for any person to engage in reckless\n\nconduct while having in his or her possession any shotgun, rifle or\n\npistol, such actions consisting of creating a situation of\n\nunreasonable risk and probability of death or great bodily harm to\n\nanother, and demonstrating a conscious disregard for the safety of\n\nanother person. Any person convicted of violating the provisions of\n\nthis section shall be punished as provided in Section 1289.15 of\n\nthis title.\n\nAny person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this\n\nsection after having been issued a handgun license pursuant to the\n\nOklahoma Self-Defense Act shall have the license revoked and shall\n\nbe subject to an administrative fine of One Thousand Dollars\n\n($1,000.00), upon a hearing and determination by the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation that the person is in violation of the\n\nprovisions of this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3d4f8d827b4734045d32100fc4665d58d2ce2a42df764bc9c0d0b4184bc51654","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1289.10","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1289.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
