Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1301","heading":"Masks and hoods - Unlawful wearing of - Exceptions","body":"It shall be unlawful for any person in this state to wear a\n\nmask, hood or covering, which conceals the identity of the wearer\n\nduring the commission of a crime or for the purpose of coercion,\n\nintimidation or harassment; provided, the provisions of Section 1301\n\net seq. of this title shall not apply to the pranks of children on\n\nHalloween, to those going to, or from, or participating in\n\nmasquerade parties, to those participating in any public parade or\n\nexhibition of an educational, religious or historical character, to\n\nthose participating in any meeting of any organization within any\n\nbuilding or enclosure wholly within and under the control of said\n\norganization, and to those participating in the parades or\n\nexhibitions of minstrel troupes, circuses or other amusements or\n\ndramatic shows. Any person, or persons, violating the provisions of\n\nthis section, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon\n\nconviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than\n\nFifty Dollars ($50.00) nor more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00),\n\nor by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not exceeding\n\none (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c10676fcf3a5a3eda9dfd2ecf97d00e8b6ed573c6224e0418505edec981548c8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-13.1v4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
