Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1321.3","heading":"Proclamation of state of emergency - Notice -","body":"Termination.\n\n(a) The Governor, after finding that a public disorder, disaster\n\nor riot exists within this state or any part thereof which affects\n\nlife, health, property or the public peace, may proclaim a state of\n\nemergency in the area affected.\n\n(b) The proclamation of a state of emergency and other\n\nproclamations issued pursuant to this act shall be in writing and\n\nshall be signed by the Governor. They shall then be filed with the\n\nSecretary of State.\n\n(c) The Governor shall give as much public notice as practical\n\nthrough the news media of the issuance of proclamations pursuant to\n\nthis act.\n\n(d) The state of emergency shall cease to exist upon the\n\nissuance of a proclamation of the Governor declaring its\n\ntermination; provided that the Governor must terminate said\n\nproclamation when order has been restored in the area affected.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0e4a858faf334b25086c535fb2c22e444becdb41218141a6a60ab56264254dcb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1321.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1321.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
