Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1412","heading":"Fraudulent warehouse receipts","body":"Any person carrying on the business of a warehouseman,\n\nwharfinger or other depositary of property, who issues any receipt,\n\nbill of lading or other voucher for any merchandise of any\n\ndescription which has not been actually received upon the premises\n\nof such person, and is not under his actual control at the time of\n\nissuing such instrument, whether such instrument is issued to a\n\nperson as being the owner of such merchandise, or as security for\n\nany indebtedness, shall be guilty of a Class D1 felony offense\n\npunishable by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through\n\nF of Section 20N of this title, or by a fine not exceeding One\n\nThousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or both.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2711.
