Stat. tit. 21, § 21-142.11","heading":"Prosecution, conviction or adjudication not required -","body":"Proof of conviction or copy of adjudication order - Suspension of\n\nproceedings.\n\nAn award may be made whether or not any person is prosecuted or,\n\nconvicted as an adult offender or adjudicated a delinquent child.\n\nProof of conviction of a person whose acts give rise to a claim or a\n\ncopy of the adjudication order for a delinquent child whose acts\n\ngive rise to a claim is conclusive evidence that the crime was\n\ncommitted, unless an application for rehearing, an appeal of the\n\nconviction, certiorari or adjudication is pending, or a rehearing or\n\nnew trial has been ordered.
