There is hereby created a Crime Victims Compensation Board,\n\nconsisting of three (3) members appointed by the Governor with the\n\nadvice and consent of the Senate to serve four-year terms and until\n\nthe successor is appointed and qualified. At least one member of\n\nthe Board shall be a person admitted to practice law in this state.\n\nOf the first members appointed, one shall be appointed for a term of\n\ntwo (2) years, one shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years,\n\nand one shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years. Vacancies\n\nshall be filled in the same manner as regular appointments.\n\nB. Each year the Board shall elect the chairman from its\n\nmembership.
