Stat. tit. 21, § 21-142.6","heading":"Additional powers of Board","body":"In addition to any other powers and duties specified elsewhere\n\nin Section 142.1 et seq. of this title, the Crime Victims\n\nCompensation Board may:\n\n1. Regulate its own procedures except as otherwise provided in\n\nSection 142.1 et seq. of this title;\n\n2. Adopt rules and regulations to implement the provisions of\n\nSection 142.1 et seq. of this title;\n\n3. Define any term not defined in Section 142.1 et seq. of this\n\ntitle;\n\n4. Prescribe forms necessary to carry out the purposes of\n\nSection 142.1 et seq. of this title;\n\n5. Have access to:\n\na. any reports of investigations from all law enforcement\n\nagencies,\n\nb. if essential to making a determination of eligibility,\n\nany written documentation included with a sexual\n\nassault forensic evidence kit tested by an accredited\n\nforensic lab, and\n\nc. any other data necessary to assist the Board in making\n\na determination of eligibility for compensation under\n\nthe provisions of Section 142.1 et seq. of this title;\n\n6. Take judicial notice of general, technical and scientific\n\nfacts within their specialized knowledge; and\n\n7.
