Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1515","heading":"Telecommunication services - Unlawful procurement -","body":"Penalty.\n\nAny individual, corporation, or other person, who, with intent\n\nto defraud or to aid and abet another to defraud any individual,\n\ncorporation, or other person, of the lawful charge, in whole or in\n\npart, for any telecommunications service, shall avoid or attempt to\n\navoid or shall cause or assist another to avoid or attempt to avoid\n\nany such charge for such service:\n\n(a) by charging such service to an existing account, or using\n\nsuch services from an existing account, telephone number or credit\n\ncard number without the authority of the subscriber thereto or the\n\nlegitimate holder thereof; or\n\n(b) by charging such service to a nonexistent, false,\n\nfictitious, or counterfeit account, telephone number or credit card\n\nnumber or to a suspended, terminated, expired, cancelled or revoked\n\ntelephone number or credit card number; or\n\n(c) by use of a code, prearranged scheme, or other similar\n\nstrategem or device whereby said person in effect sends or receives\n\ninformation; or\n\n(d) by rearranging, tampering with or making connection with any\n\nfacilities or equipment of a telephone or other communications\n\ncompany, whether physically, inductively, acoustically, or\n\nelectrically, or by utilizing such service, having reason to believe\n\nthat such rearrangement, connection, or tampering existed or\n\noccurred;\n\nshall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction\n\nthereof, be imprisoned not exceeding one (1) year or fined not\n\nexceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or both, in the\n\ndiscretion of the court.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8092318dc056fa6c4baa85f6053e0afdfb62d40e819a3502a9a9f4d457683876","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1514","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1516"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
