Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1516","heading":"Devices or plans to procure services - Making,","body":"possessing, etc., prohibited - Penalty.\n\nAny individual, corporation or other person who:\n\n(a) makes or possesses any instrument, apparatus, equipment, or\n\ndevice designed, adapted or which can be used\n\n(1) to fraudulently avoid the lawful charge for any\n\ntelecommunication service in violation of Section 1 of this act; or\n\n(2) to conceal, or to assist another to conceal, from any\n\nsupplier of telecommunication service or from any lawful authority\n\nthe existence or place of origin or of destination of any\n\ntelecommunication; or\n\n(b) sells, gives or otherwise transfers to another, or offers or\n\nadvertises to sell, give or otherwise transfer, any instrument,\n\napparatus, equipment, or device, described in (a) above, or plans or\n\ninstructions for making or assembling the same; under circumstances\n\nevidencing an intent to use or employ such instrument, apparatus,\n\nequipment, or device, or to allow the same to be used or employed,\n\nfor a purpose described in (a) (1) or (a) (2), above, or knowing or\n\nhaving reason to believe that the same is intended to be so used, or\n\nthat the aforesaid plans or instructions are intended to be used for\n\nmaking or assembling such instrument, apparatus, equipment, or\n\ndevice; shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, upon\n\nconviction thereof, be imprisoned not exceeding one (1) year or\n\nfined not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), or both, in\n\nthe discretion of the court.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d88118bb006cb19864a04ba61d9efbc46b4a1ee7244d5bde5d3b2b5c89566e58","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1515","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1517"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
