Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1541.3v1","heading":"Value of bogus checks, drafts or orders - Penalty","body":"Any person making, drawing, uttering or delivering two or more\n\nfalse or bogus checks, drafts or orders, as defined by Section\n\n1541.4 of this title, the total sum of which is Two Thousand Dollars\n\n($2,000.00) or more, even though each separate instrument is written\n\nfor less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), all in pursuance of\n\na common scheme or plan to cheat and defraud, shall be deemed guilty\n\nof a felony and shall be punished by imprisonment in the custody of\n\nthe Department of Corrections for a term not more than ten (10)\n\nyears, or by a fine not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00),\n\nor by both such fine and imprisonment. If the total sum of two or\n\nmore false or bogus checks, drafts or orders is Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) or more, but less than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00),\n\nthe person shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and\n\nshall be punished by incarceration in the county jail for not more\n\nthan one (1) year or by incarceration in the county jail one or more\n\nnights or weekends pursuant to Section 991a-2 of Title 22 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, at the option of the court, and shall be subject\n\nto a fine of not more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) and\n\nordered to provide restitution to the victim as provided in Section\n\n991a of Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"948f99d6341e54f720f7bda1bf9d2c4bdafaeb997ba79e6d9577ead4991577f8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1541.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1541.3v2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
