Any person making, drawing, uttering or delivering two or\n\nmore false or bogus checks, drafts or orders, as defined by Section\n\n1541.4 of this title, the total sum of which is Two Thousand Dollars\n\n($2,000.00) or more, even though each separate instrument is written\n\nfor less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00), all in pursuance of\n\na common scheme or plan to cheat and defraud shall be deemed guilty\n\nof a felony and shall be punished as follows:\n\n1. If the total sum of two or more false or bogus checks,\n\ndrafts or orders is Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) or more but\n\nless than Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00), the person\n\nshall be guilty of a Class D3 felony offense and shall be punished\n\nby imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of\n\nSection 20P of this title, or by a fine not to exceed Five Thousand\n\nDollars ($5,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment;\n\n2. If the total sum of two or more false or bogus checks,\n\ndrafts or orders is Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) or\n\nmore but less than Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), the person\n\nshall be guilty of a Class D1 felony offense and shall be punished\n\nby imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of\n\nSection 20N of this title, or by a fine not to exceed Five Thousand\n\nDollars ($5,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment; or\n\n3. If the total sum of two or more false or bogus checks,\n\ndrafts or orders is Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) or more,\n\nthe person shall be guilty of a Class C2 felony offense and shall be\n\npunished by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F\n\nof Section 20M of this title, or by a fine not to exceed Five\n\nThousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment.\n\nB. If the total sum of two or more false or bogus checks,\n\ndrafts or orders is Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or more but less\n\nthan Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00), the person shall, upon\n\nconviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in\n\nthe county jail for a term not to exceed one (1) year or, at the\n\ndiscretion of the court, by imprisonment in the county jail for one\n\nor more nights or weekends pursuant to Section 991a-2 of Title 22 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes, shall be subject to a fine of not more than\n\nFive Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), and ordered to pay restitution to\n\nthe victim as provided in Section 991f of Title 22 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 21"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os21.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9e9b795ff21db73fe8c856a73a92af733acc0280ee9f60e99ca751e90db5f5c2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1541.3v1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-21-21-1541.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
