Stat. tit. 21, § 21-1544","heading":"False negotiable paper","body":"If the false token by which any money or property is obtained in\n\nviolation of the first and second preceding sections of this\n\narticle, is a promissory note or negotiable evidence of debt\n\npurporting to be issued by or under the authority of any banking\n\ncompany or corporation not in existence, the person guilty of such\n\ncheat shall be guilty of a Class D1 felony offense punishable by\n\nimprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of Section\n\n20N of this title, instead of by punishment prescribed by those\n\nsections.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 2696.
